IT'S RAININ' RITALIN

Sitting at my desk
With New York behind the glass
I'm wondering what I'm doing here
Sitting on my ass
There's a thunderstorm in Jersey
With Brooklyn on its mind
It came from Jersey City
and swallowed it in kind
Traversed the Hudson River
and ate Downtown Manhattan
I didn't even notice
'til I came out from crappin'
It was absorbing the East River
and the wind crossed Brooklyn Bridge
I could see trees bend in Red Hook
From this window in Bay Ridge
By the time it hit Belt Parkway
My A.D.D. kicked in
and all I can think of now
Is a quote by Bart Simpson:
